Auction result well in line with expectations
In April last year Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Calligraphy in Xingshu by Yu Pingbo. It changed hands for a price of HKD 176,400.00 (€ 21,328.04) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 100,000.00 – 200,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yu Pingbo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Poems In Kaishu, which sold at auction in October 2012 for HKD 596,000.00 (€ 59,333.23).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy in Xingshu von Yu Pingbo zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 176.400,00 (€ 21.328,04) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 100.000,00 – 200.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Yu Pingbo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Poems In Kaishu beobachtet, die im Oktober 2012 für HKD 596.000,00 (€ 59.333,23) versteigert wurde.
