The work Calligraphy Couplet In Kaishu by Yu Pingbo was worth HKD 212,500.00 (€ 20,705.46) to a buyer in April 2012. This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Paintings at Sothebys in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 40,000.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yu Pingbo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Poems In Kaishu, which sold at auction in October 2012 for HKD 596,000.00 (€ 59,333.23).

Die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Kaishu von Yu Pingbo war einem Käufer im April 2012 HKD 212.500,00 (€ 20.705,46) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 40.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Für andere Arbeiten von Yu Pingbo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Poems In Kaishu beobachtet, die im Oktober 2012 für HKD 596.000,00 (€ 59.333,23) versteigert wurde.
