Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Vagrant And Dogs by Yu Ming was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in July 2020. The price achieved of HKD 125,000.00 (€ 13,695.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Admittedly, works by Yu Ming have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Monk; Scholar By The Pond in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 600,000.00 (€ 66,037.09).

Die Arbeit Vagrant And Dogs von Yu Ming kam im Juli 2020 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 125.000,00 (€ 13.695,43) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yu Ming auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Monk; Scholar By The Pond im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 600.000,00 (€ 66.037,09).
