Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Concubine Yang Leaving the Bath by Yu Ming was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Bonhams in Hong Kong in June last year. The price achieved of HKD 38,250.00 (€ 4,654.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yu Ming achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Monk; Scholar By The Pond in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 600,000.00 (€ 66,037.09).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Concubine Yang Leaving the Bath von Yu Ming wurde im Juni letzten Jahres in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Bonhams in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 38.250,00 (€ 4.654,74) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yu Ming erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Monk; Scholar By The Pond im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 600.000,00 (€ 66.037,09).
