Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Abundant Spring by Yu Chengyao was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2017. It changed hands for a price of HKD 4,300,000.00 (€ 507,553.92) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 3,500,000.00 – 4,500,000.00. Other works by Yu Chengyao have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2008 the work Magnificent Landscape was auctioned for HKD 5,780,000.00 (€ 587,379.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Abundant Spring von Yu Chengyao kam im April 2017 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 4.300.000,00 (€ 507.553,92) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 3.500.000,00 – 4.500.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Yu Chengyao konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2008 die Arbeit Magnificent Landscape für HKD 5.780.000,00 (€ 587.379,86) versteigert.
