Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Qingzhang Mountain by Yu Chengyao was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at POLY in July 2020. It achieved a price of HKD 141,600.00 (€ 15,514.18), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yu Chengyao achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Magnificent Landscape in November 2008 with an auction result of HKD 5,780,000.00 (€ 587,379.86).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Qingzhang Mountain von Yu Chengyao wurde im Juli 2020 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei POLY versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 141.600,00 (€ 15.514,18) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 18%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yu Chengyao erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Magnificent Landscape im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.780.000,00 (€ 587.379,86).
