Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Longevity To Infinity by Yu Chengyao was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2018. The price achieved of HKD 32,500.00 (€ 3,659.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 26,000.00 – 48,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yu Chengyao achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Magnificent Landscape in November 2008 with an auction result of HKD 5,780,000.00 (€ 587,379.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Longevity To Infinity von Yu Chengyao kam im Oktober 2018 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 32.500,00 (€ 3.659,55) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 26.000,00 – 48.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yu Chengyao erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Magnificent Landscape im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.780.000,00 (€ 587.379,86).
