Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape by Yu Chengyao was sold in the Modern Art Online auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in February last year. It changed hands for a price of HKD 47,880.00 (€ 5,456.03) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yu Chengyao achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Magnificent Landscape in November 2008 with an auction result of HKD 5,780,000.00 (€ 587,379.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Yu Chengyao wurde im Februar letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern Art Online bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 47.880,00 (€ 5.456,03) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yu Chengyao erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Magnificent Landscape im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.780.000,00 (€ 587.379,86).
