In October 2011 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art / Arab & Iranian, which included the work Arabic I by Yousef Ahmad. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 28,750.00 (€ 33,272.66), 31% above the upper estimate. Other works by Yousef Ahmad have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 73,000.00 (€ 46,891.06) in April 2008 for the work Movement of The Letter.

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 28.750,00 (€ 33.272,66) und damit 31% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Yousef Ahmad haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 73.000,00 (€ 46.891,06) im April 2008 für die Arbeit Movement of The Letter beobachtet.
