The work In Love (After Brancusi) by Yoan Capote was sold in the Latin America auction at Phillips in New York in May 2015. It achieved a price of USD 9,375.00 (€ 8,527.38), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 34%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yoan Capote achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Isla (in memoriam) in September last year with an auction result of USD 201,600.00 (€ 206,071.76).

Die Arbeit In Love (After Brancusi) von Yoan Capote wurde im Mai 2015 in der Auktion Latin America bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 9.375,00 (€ 8.527,38) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 34%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yoan Capote erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Isla (in memoriam) im September letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 201.600,00 (€ 206.071,76).
