In November 2013 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work Leon And Matilda by Yi Hwan-Kwon. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 775,000.00 (€ 73,478.61), 29% above the upper estimate. Other works by Yi Hwan-Kwon have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 860,000.00 (€ 89,344.33) in May 2010 for the work Jangdockdae Daughter and Son-colour.

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 775.000,00 (€ 73.478,61) und damit 29% über dem oberen Schätzpreis.
