The work Jangdockdae Daughter and Son-colour by Yi Hwan-Kwon was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2010. It achieved a price of HKD 860,000.00 (€ 89,344.33), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 32%. With this result, Jangdockdae Daughter and Son-colour is even the most expensive work of art by Yi Hwan-Kwon that we have observed at auctions so far.
