In May 2015 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work A Rainy Day (Pippi Longstocking) by Yi Hwan-Kwon. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 475,000.00 (€ 55,734.95), 32% above the upper estimate. Other works by Yi Hwan-Kwon have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 860,000.00 (€ 89,344.33) in May 2010 for the work Jangdockdae Daughter and Son-colour.

Im Mai 2015 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Rainy Day (Pippi Longstocking) von Yi Hwan-Kwon zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 475.000,00 (€ 55.734,95) und damit 32% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Yi Hwan-Kwon haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 860.000,00 (€ 89.344,33) im Mai 2010 für die Arbeit Jangdockdae Daughter and Son-colour beobachtet.
