Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Raising the Red Flag over the Reichstag Building by Yevgeni Khaldei was sold in the Photographs auction at Christies in New York in April 2001. Here, the upper estimate of USD 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 2,115.00 (€ 2,383.37). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yevgeni Khaldei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Original Maquette for Ot Murmanska do Berlina. Sto Mgnovenii Voiny 1941-1945. Sobytiia i Liudi (From Murmansk to Berlin. One Hundred Moments of the War 1941-1945. Events and People.) in October 2017 with an auction result of USD 100,000.00 (€ 85,851.65).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Raising the Red Flag over the Reichstag Building von Yevgeni Khaldei wurde im April 2001 in der Auktion Photographs bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 2.115,00 (€ 2.383,37) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yevgeni Khaldei erzielen.
