Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Selected Russian Images by Yevgeni Khaldei was auctioned at Phillips in London in April 2010, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,315.52). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yevgeni Khaldei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Original Maquette for Ot Murmanska do Berlina. Sto Mgnovenii Voiny 1941-1945. Sobytiia i Liudi (From Murmansk to Berlin. One Hundred Moments of the War 1941-1945. Events and People.) in October 2017 with an auction result of USD 100,000.00 (€ 85,851.65).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Selected Russian Images von Yevgeni Khaldei im April 2010 bei Phillips in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.315,52) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yevgeni Khaldei erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Original Maquette for Ot Murmanska do Berlina. Sto Mgnovenii Voiny 1941-1945. Sobytiia i Liudi (From Murmansk to Berlin. One Hundred Moments of the War 1941-1945. Events and People.) im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 100.000,00 (€ 85.851,65).
