Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Two Images From 1945 by Yevgeni Khaldei was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2007. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,125.00 (€ 2,975.55) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yevgeni Khaldei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Original Maquette for Ot Murmanska do Berlina. Sto Mgnovenii Voiny 1941-1945. Sobytiia i Liudi (From Murmansk to Berlin. One Hundred Moments of the War 1941-1945. Events and People.) in October 2017 with an auction result of USD 100,000.00 (€ 85,851.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Two Images From 1945 von Yevgeni Khaldei kam im November 2007 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 2.125,00 (€ 2.975,55) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yevgeni Khaldei erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Original Maquette for Ot Murmanska do Berlina. Sto Mgnovenii Voiny 1941-1945. Sobytiia i Liudi (From Murmansk to Berlin.
