Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Yehezkel Streichman could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in December 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Israeli and International Art auction, the work Red Landscape changed hands for USD 23,750.00 (€ 17,063.01) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 25,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Yehezkel Streichman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Autumn At My Window in December 2010 with an auction result of USD 110,500.00 (€ 83,276.81).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Yehezkel Streichman konnte im Dezember 2008 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Israeli and International Art wechselte die Arbeit Red Landscape für USD 23.750,00 (€ 17.063,01) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 25.000,00 – 30.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yehezkel Streichman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Autumn At My Window im Dezember 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 110.500,00 (€ 83.276,81).
