Despite a disappointment, a good price for Yehezkel Streichman
When the work Autumn At My Window by Yehezkel Streichman was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in December 2010, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of USD 120,000.00 – 180,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for USD 110,500.00 (€ 83,276.81). Despite this disappointing result, Autumn At My Window is the most expensive artwork by Yehezkel Streichman that we have observed at auction so far.

Als die Arbeit Autumn At My Window von Yehezkel Streichman im Dezember 2010 bei Sothebys in New York versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 120.000,00 – 180.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für USD 110.500,00 (€ 83.276,81) den Besitzer.
