Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Still Life by Yehezkel Streichman was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in December 2014. The price achieved of USD 46,875.00 (€ 38,736.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yehezkel Streichman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Autumn At My Window, which sold at auction in December 2010 for USD 110,500.00 (€ 83,276.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Still Life von Yehezkel Streichman kam im Dezember 2014 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 46.875,00 (€ 38.736,47) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Yehezkel Streichman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Autumn At My Window beobachtet, die im Dezember 2010 für USD 110.500,00 (€ 83.276,81) versteigert wurde.
