Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Jezreel Valley, Israel by Yehezkel Streichman was sold in the Israeli & International Art auction at Sothebys in New York in December 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 62,500.00 (€ 47,398.76) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Yehezkel Streichman have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2010 the work Autumn At My Window was auctioned for USD 110,500.00 (€ 83,276.81).
