In December 2017 Sothebys in New York held the auction Israeli & International Art, which included the work Composition by Yehezkel Streichman. The »bidding war« ended at USD 62,500.00 (€ 51,988.02), 56% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Yehezkel Streichman; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Autumn At My Window sold at auction in December 2010 with the realized price of USD 110,500.00 (€ 83,276.81).

Im Dezember 2017 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Israeli & International Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composition von Yehezkel Streichman zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 51.988,02) und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Yehezkel Streichman; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Autumn At My Window im Dezember 2010 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 110.500,00 (€ 83.276,81).
