Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Flowers At The Window by Yehezkel Streichman was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in December 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 10,625.00 (€ 7,633.45) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yehezkel Streichman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Autumn At My Window in December 2010 with an auction result of USD 110,500.00 (€ 83,276.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Flowers At The Window von Yehezkel Streichman kam im Dezember 2008 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 10.625,00 (€ 7.633,45) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yehezkel Streichman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Autumn At My Window im Dezember 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 110.500,00 (€ 83.276,81).
