Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Veranda by Yehezkel Streichman was sold in the 19TH & 20TH CENTURY ART auction at Christies in Tel Aviv in October 2003. The price achieved of USD 3,585.00 (€ 3,088.12) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yehezkel Streichman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Autumn At My Window in December 2010 with an auction result of USD 110,500.00 (€ 83,276.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Veranda von Yehezkel Streichman wurde im Oktober 2003 in der Auktion 19TH & 20TH CENTURY ART bei Christies in Tel Aviv versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.585,00 (€ 3.088,12) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yehezkel Streichman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Autumn At My Window im Dezember 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 110.500,00 (€ 83.276,81).
