Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape In Safed by Yehezkel Streichman was auctioned at Christies in Tel Aviv in April 2008. The price achieved of USD 37,000.00 (€ 23,766.70) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yehezkel Streichman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Autumn At My Window, which sold at auction in December 2010 for USD 110,500.00 (€ 83,276.81).

Die Arbeit Landscape In Safed von Yehezkel Streichman kam im April 2008 bei Christies in Tel Aviv zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 37.000,00 (€ 23.766,70) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Yehezkel Streichman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Autumn At My Window beobachtet, die im Dezember 2010 für USD 110.500,00 (€ 83.276,81) versteigert wurde.
