In October 2015 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century and Contemporary Chinese Art, which included the work Bird by Ye Yongqing. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 259,600.00 (€ 30,328.20), 30% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ye Yongqing achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Zanha In A Row; Summer·Lost Fruits; & Picking Deal Apples in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 4,400,000.00 (€ 409,228.55).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 30 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2015 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century and Contemporary Chinese Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bird von Ye Yongqing zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 259.600,00 (€ 30.328,20) und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ye Yongqing erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Zanha In A Row; Summer·Lost Fruits; & Picking Deal Apples im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.400.000,00 (€ 409.228,55).
