Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2016 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art, which included this untitled work by Yasuo Sumi. The price achieved of HKD 413,000.00 (€ 46,530.64) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 350,000.00 – 550,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yasuo Sumi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Work, which sold at auction in May 2016 for HKD 937,500.00 (€ 108,357.66).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2016 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Yasuo Sumi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 413.000,00 (€ 46.530,64) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 350.000,00 – 550.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Yasuo Sumi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Work beobachtet, die im Mai 2016 für HKD 937.500,00 (€ 108.357,66) versteigert wurde.
