Auction result misses estimated price range
In February 2003 a collector was able to acquire the work Selected Chicago images by Yasuhiro Ishimoto for USD 1,195.00 (€ 1,108.64). This price was achieved in the auction Photographs at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Yasuhiro Ishimoto have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Selected Images in October 2014 with an auction result of USD 11,875.00 (€ 9,477.25).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Februar 2003 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Selected Chicago images von Yasuhiro Ishimoto für USD 1.195,00 (€ 1.108,64) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Photographs bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yasuhiro Ishimoto auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Selected Images im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 11.875,00 (€ 9.477,25).
