Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Running Script Calligraphy by Yao Nai was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2015. It changed hands for a price of HKD 75,000.00 (€ 9,160.20) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Yao Nai have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Letters in September 2015 with an auction result of USD 47,500.00 (€ 42,555.10).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Running Script Calligraphy von Yao Nai kam im November 2015 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 9.160,20) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yao Nai auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Letters im September 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 47.500,00 (€ 42.555,10).
