Auction result well in line with expectations
In March last year Bonhams in New York held the auction The Reverend Richard Fabian Collection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, Part V The Online Sale, which included the work Peonies, 1925 by Yao Hua. It changed hands for a price of USD 1,785.00 (€ 1,609.12) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yao Hua achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chrysanthemums By The Stream in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 300,000.00 (€ 33,018.54).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion The Reverend Richard Fabian Collection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, Part V The Online Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Peonies, 1925 von Yao Hua zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 1.785,00 (€ 1.609,12) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.200,00 – 1.800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yao Hua erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chrysanthemums By The Stream im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 300.000,00 (€ 33.018,54).
