Auction result well in line with expectations

The work Landscape by Yao Hua was sold in the Asian Art auction at Bonhams in Sydney in December 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of AUD 2,000.00 – 4,000.00, the actual price achieved of AUD 2,460.00 (€ 2,173.53) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yao Hua achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chrysanthemums By The Stream in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 300,000.00 (€ 33,018.54).

Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Die Arbeit Landscape von Yao Hua wurde im Dezember 2021 in der Auktion Asian Art bei Bonhams in Sydney versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von AUD 2.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von AUD 2.460,00 (€ 2.173,53) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yao Hua erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chrysanthemums By The Stream im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 300.000,00 (€ 33.018,54).
