Auction result misses estimated price range
In March last year a collector was able to acquire the work Calligraphy in Running Script by Yao Hua for USD 1,530.00 (€ 1,379.25). This price was achieved in the auction The Reverend Richard Fabian Collection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, Part V The Online Sale at Bonhams in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yao Hua achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chrysanthemums By The Stream in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 300,000.00 (€ 33,018.54).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Calligraphy in Running Script von Yao Hua für USD 1.530,00 (€ 1.379,25) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The Reverend Richard Fabian Collection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, Part V The Online Sale bei Bonhams in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yao Hua erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chrysanthemums By The Stream im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 300.000,00 (€ 33.018,54).
