A top price for Yang Wencong
This artwork by Yang Wencong achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2017. In the Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Verdant Mountains sold for HKD 23,150,000.00 (€ 2,547,930.98) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 12,000,000.00. This high result makes Verdant Mountains the most expensive artwork by Yang Wencong that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Yang Wencong
Dieses Kunstwerk von Yang Wencong erzielte im Oktober 2017 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Verdant Mountains für HKD 23.150.000,00 (€ 2.547.930,98) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 12.000.000,00. Dieses hohe Ergebnis macht Verdant Mountains zu dem teuersten Kunstwerk von Yang Wencong, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
