Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape by Yang Wencong was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2015. The price achieved of HKD 80,240.00 (€ 9,374.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 68,000.00 – 88,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yang Wencong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Verdant Mountains in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 23,150,000.00 (€ 2,547,930.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Yang Wencong kam im Oktober 2015 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 80.240,00 (€ 9.374,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 68.000,00 – 88.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yang Wencong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Verdant Mountains im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 23.150.000,00 (€ 2.547.930,98).
