The work Landscape by Yang Wencong was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2015. It achieved a price of USD 20,000.00 (€ 17,917.94), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 33%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yang Wencong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Verdant Mountains in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 23,150,000.00 (€ 2,547,930.98).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 33 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Yang Wencong kam im September 2015 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 17.917,94) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 33%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yang Wencong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Verdant Mountains im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 23.150.000,00 (€ 2.547.930,98).
