This artwork by Yang Wencong achieved an unexpectedly high price at POLY in Hong Kong in April 2014. In the Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Landscape Painted For Zhou Gongliang sold for HKD 1,610,000.00 (€ 149,740.45) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 800,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yang Wencong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Verdant Mountains in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 23,150,000.00 (€ 2,547,930.98).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Yang Wencong erzielte im April 2014 bei POLY in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Landscape Painted For Zhou Gongliang für HKD 1.610.000,00 (€ 149.740,45) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 800.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yang Wencong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Verdant Mountains im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 23.150.000,00 (€ 2.547.930,98).
