Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Set Of Two) by Yang Jiechang was sold in the Contemporary Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2017. The price achieved of HKD 47,500.00 (€ 5,606.70) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yang Jiechang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Eye Of The Storm in September 2008 with an auction result of USD 338,500.00 (€ 240,394.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Set Of Two) von Yang Jiechang wurde im April 2017 in der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 47.500,00 (€ 5.606,70) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yang Jiechang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Eye Of The Storm im September 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 338.500,00 (€ 240.394,86).
