Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Stranger than Paradise - Grey, 2011 by Yang Jiechang was auctioned at Bonhams in May this year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 8,925.00 (€ 10,384.30). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yang Jiechang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Eye Of The Storm in September 2008 with an auction result of USD 338,500.00 (€ 240,394.86).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Stranger than Paradise - Grey, 2011 von Yang Jiechang kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 8.925,00 (€ 10.384,30) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yang Jiechang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Eye Of The Storm im September 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 338.500,00 (€ 240.394,86).
