Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2017 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art, which included the work Precious Moment(Painted In 2001) by Yan Ping. The price achieved of HKD 472,000.00 (€ 53,896.05) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. Admittedly, works by Yan Ping have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Spring Flavour; & Rabbit in May 2012 with an auction result of HKD 2,660,000.00 (€ 277,101.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2017 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Precious Moment(Painted In 2001) von Yan Ping zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 472.000,00 (€ 53.896,05) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 400.000,00 – 600.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yan Ping auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Spring Flavour; & Rabbit im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.660.000,00 (€ 277.101,26).
