Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2016 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Mother by Yan Ping. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 450,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 472,000.00 (€ 55,544.61). Admittedly, works by Yan Ping have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Spring Flavour; & Rabbit in May 2012 with an auction result of HKD 2,660,000.00 (€ 277,101.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2016 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mother von Yan Ping zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 450.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 472.000,00 (€ 55.544,61) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yan Ping auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Spring Flavour; & Rabbit im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.660.000,00 (€ 277.101,26).
