In April 2017 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Mother And Child-Dining by Yan Ping. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 590,000.00 (€ 69,641.12), 48% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yan Ping - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Spring Flavour; & Rabbit, which sold at auction in May 2012 for HKD 2,660,000.00 (€ 277,101.26).

Im April 2017 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mother And Child-Dining von Yan Ping zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 590.000,00 (€ 69.641,12) und damit 48% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Yan Ping mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Spring Flavour; & Rabbit beobachtet, die im Mai 2012 für HKD 2.660.000,00 (€ 277.101,26) versteigert wurde.
