Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mother And Child by Yan Ping was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at POLY in March 2018. The price achieved of HKD 330,400.00 (€ 34,166.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 280,000.00 – 380,000.00. Admittedly, works by Yan Ping have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Spring Flavour; & Rabbit in May 2012 with an auction result of HKD 2,660,000.00 (€ 277,101.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Mother And Child von Yan Ping wurde im März 2018 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei POLY versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 330.400,00 (€ 34.166,36) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 280.000,00 – 380.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yan Ping auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Spring Flavour; & Rabbit im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.660.000,00 (€ 277.101,26).
