The work Colour Wheels - GZ - 2 by Yan Lei was auctioned at Phillips in London in April 2014. The auction ended at the price of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 36,516.94), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yan Lei - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Arrival: New York No. 1, which sold at auction in May 2012 for HKD 1,100,000.00 (€ 114,590.75).
