Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work LETTERS by Yan Fu was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Christies in New York in March 2015. It achieved a price of USD 6,000.00 (€ 5,586.07), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yan Fu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Eight-Character Couplet In Regular Script in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 1,150,000.00 (€ 132,906.29).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit LETTERS von Yan Fu wurde im März 2015 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Christies in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 6.000,00 (€ 5.586,07) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yan Fu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Eight-Character Couplet In Regular Script im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.150.000,00 (€ 132.906,29).
