Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy by Yan Fu was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy II auction at POLY in April 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 50,000.00 – 100,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 59,000.00 (€ 6,225.44) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yan Fu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Eight-Character Couplet In Regular Script in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 1,150,000.00 (€ 132,906.29).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy von Yan Fu wurde im April 2018 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy II bei POLY versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 50.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 59.000,00 (€ 6.225,44) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yan Fu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Eight-Character Couplet In Regular Script im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.150.000,00 (€ 132.906,29).
