Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2020 Bonhams in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese PaintingsThe Online Sale, which included the work Letter to Xingsun by Yan Fu. The price achieved of HKD 51,000.00 (€ 5,379.39) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yan Fu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Eight-Character Couplet In Regular Script in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 1,150,000.00 (€ 132,906.29).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2020 führte Bonhams in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese PaintingsThe Online Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Letter to Xingsun von Yan Fu zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 51.000,00 (€ 5.379,39) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yan Fu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Eight-Character Couplet In Regular Script im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.150.000,00 (€ 132.906,29).
