The work Calligrpahy Couplet In Xingshu by Yan Fu was worth HKD 275,000.00 (€ 25,396.14) to a buyer in October 2011. This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Paintings at Sothebys in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Yan Fu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Eight-Character Couplet In Regular Script in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 1,150,000.00 (€ 132,906.29).

Die Arbeit Calligrpahy Couplet In Xingshu von Yan Fu war einem Käufer im Oktober 2011 HKD 275.000,00 (€ 25.396,14) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yan Fu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Eight-Character Couplet In Regular Script im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.150.000,00 (€ 132.906,29).
