Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work New Landscape by Xue Song was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May this year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 500,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 529,200.00 (€ 63,430.49). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Xue Song - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Rivers and Mountains After Snow—A Tribute to Wang Wei, which sold at auction in September this year for CNY 1,260,000.00 (€ 163,095.24).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit New Landscape von Xue Song kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 500.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 529.200,00 (€ 63.430,49) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Xue Song mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Rivers and Mountains After Snow—A Tribute to Wang Wei beobachtet, die im September diesen Jahres für CNY 1.260.000,00 (€ 163.095,24) versteigert wurde.
