Auction result well in line with expectations
The work You Rong Nai Da (If You Accept People for Who They Are, You Are Generous) by Xue Song was auctioned at Christies in London in October last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 5,292.00 (€ 6,165.12) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xue Song achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rivers and Mountains After Snow—A Tribute to Wang Wei in September this year with an auction result of CNY 1,260,000.00 (€ 163,095.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit You Rong Nai Da (If You Accept People for Who They Are, You Are Generous) von Xue Song kam im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 5.292,00 (€ 6.165,12) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xue Song erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rivers and Mountains After Snow—A Tribute to Wang Wei im September diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 1.260.000,00 (€ 163.095,24).
