Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Water Country in Jiangnan by Xu Xi was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2018. The price achieved of HKD 37,500.00 (€ 4,097.04) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Xu Xi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work River Landscape in May 2018 with an auction result of HKD 325,000.00 (€ 35,507.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Water Country in Jiangnan von Xu Xi kam im Mai 2018 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 37.500,00 (€ 4.097,04) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Xu Xi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit River Landscape im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 325.000,00 (€ 35.507,71).
