The work Sailing On The Lake by Xu Xi was worth HKD 88,500.00 (€ 10,041.77) to a buyer in March 2019. This price was achieved in the auction Important Collections of Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy from Asia at China Guardian in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 20,000.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Xu Xi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work River Landscape, which sold at auction in May 2018 for HKD 325,000.00 (€ 35,507.71).

Die Arbeit Sailing On The Lake von Xu Xi war einem Käufer im März 2019 HKD 88.500,00 (€ 10.041,77) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Important Collections of Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy from Asia bei China Guardian in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 20.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Für andere Arbeiten von Xu Xi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit River Landscape beobachtet, die im Mai 2018 für HKD 325.000,00 (€ 35.507,71) versteigert wurde.
